"What a great experience we had! My husband was searching on Google for somewhere nice to have dinner, and found this charming little restaurant. The reviews on Tripadvisor were really positive, so we decided to give it a try. The place is small but cosy, and the food was terrific! We ordered the plat du jour, dessert and coffee, and had a couple of glasses of wine. Everything was absolutely delicious! Even though we don’t speak French, the staff were lovely and made us feel very welcome, speaking English with us. Highly recommended!"

"We stumbled upon this restaurant when hungry and in need of something substantial at an awkward time of the afternoon. We both ordered the steak frites which were probably the best we had in France. Served with mustard, the beef was still tender but not rare. The chips were hand cut and the salad light and fresh. Washed it down with two large poured beers. Service was quick and friendly and a great spot to people watch."

"If you are looking for reasonable prices, friendly staff and skip the 'fancy', you can't do any better. Our tour guide recommended this place and it was exactly like she said it would be. Definitely a place for locals, we might have been the only tourists they had seen in weeks. Can't recommend a dish because the daily special is the only thing we saw coming out of the kitchen. Maybe not for everybody but, we loved it."
